WA Updates
And just like that, Term 1 for 2023 is done and dusted already! Time flies when you’re having fun right?!
It has been another amazing, rewarding and exciting 10 weeks for all of our trainees in WA with all of them transitioning to at least one new department and some even more during this time. Every trainee based at Belmont Oasis Leisure Centre has completed their Pool Lifeguard training, many have been signed off in the Customer Service department, and we’ve even had a handful finish their swim school training which is super exciting!! Our trainees over at Morley are also doing really well, with both of them being signed off in the Customer Service department, Swish basketball and Flip It gymnastics!!
WA Training Awards
I am very excited to announce that five current trainees have been nominated for the upcoming WA Training Awards! We had a great deal of success at these awards last year and are looking to showcase the amazing trainees we have here in Western Australia again this year so watch this space!!
NMTAFE Update
All trainees are progressing well with their TAFE work so far which is excellent to see. We will be running a TAFE session with our lecturers on Monday 17th April onsite that all trainees are expected to attend as the next units will be released to them then. It is really important to stay up to date with the theory component, so it doesn’t become too overwhelming towards the end of the traineeship so keep up the great work!!
