Why Traineeships?

Traineeships offer students an alternate pathway into a career that they are passionate about. They also then create a positive relationship and win-win situation for host employers, RTO’s, schools and students.

Who is LEA?

Leisure Employment Australia (LEA) is an employment company and created in 2016.

At LEA, we are devoted to upskilling individuals through traineeships within the Sport and Recreation industry, while providing cost effective and flexible staffing solutions for many Aquatic and Leisure centres along the east coast of Australia.

LEA has spent years working with traineeships internally, witnessing first hand the benefits that a well structured and administered program can deliver to businesses. It is this factor that sets up apart from other RTO’s, who purely come from a training background.

LEA is dedicated to finding enthusiastic and hardworking students, who are passionate about the sport and recreation industry and matching them within a quality aquatic and leisure centre.

We are extremely committed to providing ongoing support and monitoring throughout your traineeship process, including conducting regular reviews and managing your workplace. LEA will pay for your qualification, your training and your wages. We will also guide the creation of training plans and monitor formal training.

We offer you the opportunity to build your skills and knowledge of this industry while being paid to learn. You may start as a lifeguard or swim teacher, and then transition into customer service positions, sporting roles and gain experience across a variety of departments, as you work your way into senior management roles.

LEA believes in treating all staff members as family and we are excited to help you along your journey.
