By choosing this traineeship, I have been able to gain a Certificate III, Learn-to-Swim qualification and excellent ‘on-the-job’ experience of being a lifeguard. Starting from a very young age I found a passion for sports and revolved my whole life around it, participating in sports inside and outside of school. When the opportunity arose to enrol in the Certificate III in Sport and Recreation as a School-Based traineeship I jumped at the chance. Thanks to Leisure Employment Australia I have been able to enhance my knowledge in the sporting industry to follow my dreams and make a career out of something I have always loved.
