Pathways Traineeship Program
We continue to grow our Pathways Traineeship program, proving that education is a powerful tool for life.
Within our Pathways program we tend to focus on Business or Sport and Recreation, given the industry we are in. However for a select few sites, there is also the opportunity to focus on professional development in the child minding sector.
Pathway Trainee Profile – Andrea Milne
Andrea works Full time at Belmont Oasis Leisure Centre in the creche and Out of School Care program.
She is our first trainee to study and successfully complete the Certificate IV School Age Education and Care traineeship pathway.
As a pathway trainee, Andrea was allocated 3 hours every week to study and train and she has proven that hard work really does pay off.
Due to her traineeship completion, Andrea is now a Qualified Educator and can take on a lot more responsibility in her role, including the ability to step into a coordinating role during our busy School Holiday season.
Well done Andrea. We are so proud of you!
