We would like to share a special mention to Joel from WA for his contribution to the World’s greatest shave!
A big congratulations to Bella Walter who competed in state cycling after only starting the sport 2 months prior. Bella has been selected to represent WA in the nationals in July! Congratulations Bella and good luck in July!
Congratulations to Ashley Campbell from Sydney who has officially completed her traineeship. Ashley has shown great determination and perseverance throughout the duration of her traineeship which has allowed her to complete it so quickly.
In Port Macquarie, our year 12 Trainee Morgan Jean competed in the 2021 Australian Age Swimming Championships at Gold Coast Swimming and Aquatic Centre. Morgan placed 3rd in 100m freestyle, 50m butterfly, 50m backstroke and 4th in 50m breaststroke , 50m freestyle, 200m Individual medley and 5th in 100m butterfly, 200m freestyle. Congratulations and well done Morgan !
Abbey Connor, a Sydney trainee, competed at the 2021 Australian Swimming Age Championship where she medalled in numerous events including – 1st in the 200m Butterfly, 2nd in the 100m Butterfly and 1500m freestyle and 3rd in the 400m and 200m freestyle. Abbey you should be very proud of your efforts with your performance highlighting your dedication in the water!
Eleni, also a Sydney trainee, also competed in her given sport, Taekwondo winning the gold medal for the open age division at the NSW State Taekwondo Championships. Eleni should be congratulated on her tenacity and skill whereby she was able to take out the open division as a 16 year old!
Our trainee, David from Newcastle recently participated in a voyager trip! He spent over 11 days out in sea learning about the skills required to sail a tall ship. David was able to practice his leadership skills as he navigated the group.
In NSW, we are excited to sign up Elijah De Rieve, Jordan Bubb, Blake Austin and Kyle Houghton who will be starting their Pathway traineeships with us.
