Introducing one of our Victorian School Based Trainees, Jake Costa.

Jake is in year 12 and works as a trainee at Windy Hill Fitness Centre. His roles include Learn To Swim Instructor and Pool LifeGuard

In his spare time Jake plays for 2 footy teams. St Bernards Old Collegians Football Club (VAFA) and St Bernard’s College Senior Div 1 team, and his role is vice captain. Jake displays great leadership skills  through his passion on the footy field with his peers.

Jake started junior football in 2014 for St. Bernard’s, and really enjoys playing with his team members weekly. Keeping fit and current, is important to Jake as he usually trains every day either being gym or attending team footy training

When asked what his dream is : “ My dream is to play AFL” .

Introducing one of our Victorian School Based Trainees, Bridget Smyth.

Doing a great job juggling both year 12 and her Traineeship is Bridget Smyth from Sandringham Family Leisure Centre in Victoria. When not working as a Pool Lifeguard or Learn To Swim Instructor,  Bridget enjoys playing netball for Minties Netball Club and enjoys supporting her footy team Melbourne Demons.

Eating out Bridget’s favourite cuisine is Mexican- she is a sucker for nachos!

When asked is there something she believes in, that no one else does, and Bridget replied “ I believe that the work and effort you put into something equates to the result you will get out of it. Whether that be at work, school or with relationships. I think it applies to everything we do in life”
