What do you like best about your School Based Traineeship?
I like that I get to work in the pool with kids and get the opportunity to learn and evolve my leadership skills. I enjoy café and reception because you learn how to deal with customers and coping strategies to deal with unusual situations.
What do you enjoy most about your favourite working role?
Swim teaching is my favourite role as I love to teach kids how to swim. It helps me improve my teaching skills and communication skills. I also have to speak to parents and other swim teachers who are in the water at the same time to make sure everyone is safe.
Something cool we don’t know about you?
I am good at cooking and my favourite thing to make is carbonara with spaghetti. I am the middle child; I have one older brother and one younger sister. I have also travelled through most of WA! We went up the coast all the way to Karijini and came back to Perth through the middle of WA
