Another term is done and we are officially half way through the year! For the majority of trainees, that’s now over 6 months of working hard towards your goals and making a splash across the 19 facilities that we are currently running our School Based Traineeships. A special mention to all trainees nominated in our State Based Training Awards, across NSW and WA. We had 12 students nominated, 7 finalists and 1 regional winner so far! We are excited for the outcome of upcoming interviews and award evenings – it’s looking to be another successful year for our LEA trainees. Best of luck!
SPORT AND RECREATION TRAINING PACKAGE CHANGES
As discussed in the last newsletter, the Sport and Recreation training package has been revised and a new package has been released.
We are still working with each of our registered training organisations (RTOs) in understanding what the new qualification will mean for our upcoming 2024 cohort of trainees. For our current trainees, please note if you are keeping on top of your studies and the structure put in place for you, you should be well on track to completion.
As always, if you have any concerns or reasons why you feel you will not be able to complete your studies in 2023, please ensure you reach out to your LEA consultant. We will work closely with you, your school and the RTO to understand your options moving forward and put a plan in place.
